There are a number of personal preferences that will affect the way information is displayed to the user. Language is the most obvious, but like language, formats and units matter as well. It's quite easy to convert units, less easy to to accurate translation!

Implementation notes

This could either be all one long page, or split into parts, depending on what users seem to prefer.

The matter of preferences is a tricky one. Maybe a good strategy is to show default values and allow them to be changed?—-
