Some person or organisation (including any kind of group) using RegenCHOICE to find others. In both kinds of enquiry, both active and standing, choosers are engaged in choosing the others that they would like to contact. And of course this also aligns with the old name: CHOICE.

• Actor can be used as equivalent
• The previous term Party sort of worked, as in the parties to an agreement, but “chooser” gives a clearer and more immediate sense of what the role implies

• A Person is restricted to natural people
• An Organisation is restricted to not being a natural person, but rather any (organised) grouping of people or actors, along with associated agents
• An Enquirer is a chooser who is actively in the process of choosing, with an active enquiry
• A Respondent is a chooser who is standing, waiting to be chosen by an enquirer
