In April 2024 I took up the honorary volunteer position of “senior research associate”.
There is a hub in Bergerac in the south-west of France, where I was for a residency in [[t:IFS]] in November 2022. In June 2024 I was at their gathering at Rufus's place nearby.

My interest and motivation springs from two of the quoted words: “rigorous” and “practical”. 
Not many practically-oriented groups have rigorous research standards consistent with publication in the academic world. At the same time, there is very little academic research into the matters of most practical importance for regeneration; for the [[https://secondrenaissance.net/|Second Renaissance]]; for tackling the major global challenges.
