[[wp>Nonviolent Communication]], originated by [[wp>Marshall Rosenberg]], is relevant to many perspectives on personal growth, inner work, etc.

I did some introductory courses on this when living at [[a:Lancaster Cohousing]], probably around 2014.

I appreciate the fundamentals, and encourage people to grasp the essential ideas, as I believe they are very useful. However, I am also aware that NVC can easily be misused, for instance to avoid any sense of responsibility for another person's feelings.

I see NVC as generally a good way to approach strangers, but seriously lacking when it comes to close personal relationships.
