[[a:aSimonG]]: Both LifeCode and memetic signature seem to me to lack immediate comprehensibility, possibly because they are representing something that is more complex than what exists in common language. 

In any case, it would seem sensible from a learnability perspective to choose just one term, not two equivalent ones.
