See echo in the Glossary, where it is defined as
a signed affirmation of a Promise made by another Agent, issued by an agent who chooses to align with that promise.
aSimonG: Perhaps “echo” is a word with too many natural connotations, only some of which are appropriate to the MAP. I would stick with “affirmation”, as used in the definition.
