alignment (MAP term)

This is mentioned in the Offers and Agreements section, though the exact meaning is not completely clear.

In particular, it is not clear how an alignment criterion relates to a required promise.

Commentary

aSimonG: In RegenCHOICE, the criteria for a fit are one-way, not two-way; whereas the term “alignment” strongly suggests similarity.

One possibility is that “alignment” is less to do with preferences or promises of particular parties to an agreement, but more to do with whether the parties accept the values, norms, rules, constraints, or whatever, of the containing space in which they are both participating, which will be a We-Space to each one, not an I-Space.
