One possibility is that "alignment" is less to do with preferences or promises of particular parties to an [[agreement]], but more to do with whether the parties accept the values, norms, rules, constraints, or whatever, of the containing [[space]] in which they are both participating, which will be a [[We-Space]] to each one, not an [[I-Space]].
