====== Towards a metamodern research ecosystem ======

I'll start with a bare outline, and it's going to have to be bare, as the topic itself is vast and rich.

I gave my short talk to the [[https://wiki.secondrenaissance.net/wiki/Life_Itself_Research_Group|Life Itself Research Group]] on the day I started this post, and wrote [[https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1FNcm5OtBSR0otF2dKvm39IPTQv-UkvzsDNAnYgjkUZM/edit?usp=sharing| a simple slide deck]] which gives you the picture. So here I will try to write the narrative that goes with the slides. But it might be a while before I do that!

First, questions as a focus. Questions come up in conversation, particularly between people who don't have all the answers, but are curious. And in particular, here, I'm interested in questions that relate to paradigm shift; to cultural change; to both personal and collective growth and development. 

That talk is the stimulus for this page. Life Itself as an organisation claims two foremost areas of interest: what is called the “Second Renaissance” (“2R”) and what are called “Deliberately Developmental Spaces" (“DDS”s)
