I find it difficult to be productive at this dark time of the year. Eating and drinking carelessly comes too easily! However … let me just write what is on my mind as the vital matters for the start of the new year.

1. Finish the vital business here in England: tax return; hill walk with Elsa; triage and reorganising space in the house here in Lancaster; car repair; electrician and plumber.
2. Write a new introductory piece of prose for RegenCHOICE, focusing on four things:
   1. how different the idea of two-way “matching” is from the common similarity matching, and how that radically improves the quality of the service (while retaining the ability to match by similarity);
   2. how this goes along with solving the dilemma between too few questions and too many, allowing a great and growing stock of discriminating questions;
   3. how both of these ensure a natural level of privacy and trust, with highly sensitive things able to be sought without going public;
   4. how AI is kept firmly in its place, not second-guessing the human intuition.
   5. (I did this, now at RegenCHOICE USPs)
3. Write a slide deck explaining this step by step, for multiple use in presentations.
4. Continue the search for co-founders:
   1. a software engineer who really knows their stuff;
   2. a charming, persuasive, charismatic, authoritative public face;
   3. a super-organised manager of people and business.
