Their answer to my question (page)
Wireframe: their-answer
This page allows the enquirer to examine an answer to a property question in detail, and record their own view on the answer.
For relational questions, a reduced version of this page is used. The information that is always present is information relevant to uncontacted Candidates, for answers to relational questions.
Enquirer perspective
I'm curious about the answer given by the respondent to this property question of mine. I want to see details, for example, if it has been changed, when, what previous answers were, so that I can make my own assessment of the reliability of the answer. If the other party has agreed contact, then I also want to see what they have written about their answers, and about the changes they may have made.
I can note down, for my own viewing only, whether I think the answer is reliable, and why.

Commentary
I'm doing this as a single page, but equally it could be given as two separate pages, one for contacts and a lesser one for just candidates.
This ambivalence also presses on the question of the role of the enquiry. While the persistence mechanism should ensure that no one gives two different answers to the same question simultaneously, either contacts or candidates could have answered the same question for more than one different enquiry. And for relational questions, it is perfectly possible that someone has different wants for different enquiries.
The safest solution for now is to go with a single enquiry from the enquirer.
maybe for later
But what about history, if the Q/A form has changed?
Are answers given in chronological or reverse order?
A withdrawn or withheld answer will not show up in any correspondence, so will not show up in any answer history either. If it is answered or supplied again, the history will again show up in correspondences. Withdrawn answers show in the history; periods of withholding are transparent, as the answer itself has not changed. For a question that has been answered, refusal does not remove history either. Periods of refusal show up the same as unanswered. The point about refusal is to disable question suggestion to the user.
