The monthly salary — this seems at present to be the most widespread usage. Obviously, multiply by 12 to get annual salary.

• Relational: QRelB is true

• QSUnit default to the currency in the place where the employment is offered, or input from dropdown or autocomplete.
• QSMax Maximum
• QSMin Minimum: if there is a single fixed salary, set this = Maximum
• QSGran Granularity — if present, just calculated

If users enter the sums by hand, there is no need for granularity. To get a useful drop-down list, the granularity would need to be given as the next power of 10 down from 10% of the minimum, but this is less attractive as an option.

The way salary is entered needs to be in line with the rest of the local or regional employment market.

The system will obviously convert to see whether the two sides fit.
